It is time to celebrate! Not really that exciting but I realized yesterday that today is this blog’s half birthday. I started writing on it, with my old website design on March 25th, 2007. That makes the blog exactly 6 months old today. Hurray! If you’re as excited as I am, check out my run down of some of best articles since the beginning of time (6 months ago).

under construction

My personal blog is undergoing some rethinking and may be a little different in the future; becoming more professional and less random. I am doing this in the wake of generally trying to unclutter my life and I hope to build up a reader base that is interested in the same things I am.

I am thinking of having fewer categories and focusing on very specific topics as this will soon be my prime blog. How does Business, Writing, Creative, and Change the World sound as categories? I can pretty much sum everything I talk about up in those terms.

You may experience some glitches in the blog while I am working on it.

BOO YAH!

Thursday, July 19th, 2007

Every once in a while I get a great design in my head. A few days ago I got just that and ran with it. Now, the new WarrenGreeley.com is something I can be proud of. Besides the obvious changes like the look of the site, some other things that are different are more content too offer about who I am and what I do, improved and updated photo galleries, and an overall better experience while on the site.

I want to hear feedback on what you think so let me know by Contacting Me.

Sorry for the downtime…

Friday, June 29th, 2007

Hey everyone. Sorry for the blog being down for a little while. My company that hosts this site switched over to new servers and some of the databases got left behind but when we figured out what the problem was it was easy to fix. Anyway, I’ll be posting again soon.

I got a new quote I am thinking about for the homepage. It came from an 81 year old woman I was talking to in a Taco Bell one day not too long ago.

“The first hundred years are the hardest. After that, who cares?” She said laughing.

Door County Trip and Photos

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

Last fall I took a trip with my long time girlfriend Valerie Price to Door County, Wisconsin. This is a popular vacation spot for families and couples. It is the small peninsula on the east side of the state that divides Green Bay and Lake Michigan. This, to me, is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I have ventured there many times. This was my most recent visit. It will also be a brief but important setting in my book “The Serpent’s Seed.”

Hello World!

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

Hi. To get the ball rolling I want to start out by saying thank you for your interest in my work. An author is nothing without people who care enough to read his writing. I also want to thank all those who have helped me. I am not going to mention them here but they know who they are.

I am involved in many things. My company, which I co-founded with my friend Jestine Chakkumcal, is called C&G GLOBAL. It is a Web and Graphic design firm that is very involved in the Art Community. We opperate the website ArtofChicago.net and are currently working on a project called “The International Art Network”.

The purpose of this website “WarrenGreeley.com” is to expose my writing to patrons. I hope all who visit will be able to get a feel for my style and what my writing is all about. Check out everything I am doing at WarrenGreeley.com.

Thanks for visiting. Thanks for caring.
